The String Academy of Wisconsin Spring Scholarship Benefit Concert featuring Monday, May 14th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, March 24, 2012 the String Academy of Wisconsin will present two Spring Concerts. We invite you to be our guest at one or both of these concerts. The first concert will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the second at 12 Noon, both taking place in the UWM Peck School of the Arts Recital [...] This Saturday, January 14th there is a great opportunity to see a free concert with the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra and Bel Canto Chorus. String Academy faculty Jamie Hofman will be performing, and Mayor Tom Barrett will be participating. Barber’s Adagio for Strings and Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony (based on String Quartet No 8 ) will be [...] Have you still got some Halloween candy sitting around? Well we’ve still got Halloween photos to share! String Academy parent and professional photographer Jonathan Kirn has done it again and captured some incredible moments from our most recent Halloween Concerts. And at the String Academy, that means our annual Spring Concerts are right around the corner. The concerts will take place this Saturday, March 26 at 10AM and 12PM in the PSOA Recital Hall at UWM. All the SAW group classes [...] The fall semester is off to a great start, and our Fall Concerts are right around the corner. I invite you to come join us on Saturday, November 20th at 12:00 and 2:30. We’ll be “at home” in the Peck School of the Arts Recital Hall, and admission is free and open to the public.
