In an article from the Journal Sentinal, violinists Joshua Bell remembers his days studying with Mimi Zweig. Mimi is the founder of the String Academy of Wisconsin and an Artisitic Advisor.
“Mimi was a very important part of my life and a vital, important part of my musical development,” he recalled. “When I was about 8 years old she took me back to basics and fixed a lot of things. She made me take my musical vitamins, you might say.”
