Meghan McGowen
March 8 and 9, 1991, was the Annual SAW Concerto Competition. This year’s winner, Meghan McGowan, will perform Vivaldi’s Concerto E Major with the SAW Chamber Orchestra at the Mother’s Day Concert on May 12 at 2:30. The SAW Faculty judged the preliminaries and felt the level was extremely high. Scott Tisdel and Eric Steensruud, both members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, judged the finals. They both remarked that they were impressed with all students. Meghan, age 12, is a student of Sherry Sinift. She has studied the violin for seven years and says that her main hobby is her violin.
