Turn Back the Clock

With the launch of our new website, it’s a great time to pause, look back, and see how far we’ve come.  With Web 2.0 and high-speed internet, we’ve now gotten used to audio, video, lots of pictures, and a constant stream of information.

Here is a snapshot of the SAW website circa 2001, from webarchive.org. When we first debuted in mid-2001, stringacademyofwisconsin.org, even to have a website was “cutting edge.” Many thanks to Wei Yao, our original webmaster, and Jim Olsen for pioneering the Digital Frontier!
