Vieuxtemps: Violin Concerto No. 5, Wentong Zhang, violin

The String Academy of Wisconsin’s Violin Virtuosi participated in the Violin Pedagogy Weekend at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University April 4-6th, 2014.

Seven violinists from SAW joined pre-college violinists from Northwestern University, Indiana University, University of Wyoming-Laramie and Peabody Pre-College for a weekend of masterclasses, pedagogy panels and sessions and the Sunday gala concert. Each group also performed repertoire independently as well performing combined group pieces by Bartok, Kreisler, and Veracini.
